Didn't blog tonight--or answer the phone

We chilled out and watched a movie tonight. I didn't even answer the phone!

I felt a little guilty about that, but I wonder, why do we think we HAVE to answer the phone just because it rings?! I mean, people even get out of the BATHTUB to do that! Does that make sense?

I think answering machines are a great compromise.
