Sunday with Charlie

Here is Charlie on Day 3 of his life. Isn't that pacifier picure funny? It looks HUGE, but he can suck on it just fine, which amazes me. (Madeline had to have special preemie pacifiers, and she never did really master sucking.)

When we got to the hospital this morning we could hear Charlie screaming as soon as we got off the elevator. Poor thing--they had just circumcised him! He cried awhile and then settled down for a long nap in Grandpa Joe's lap.

Jody is enthralled with him. This morning he wrapped him up inside his fleece sweatshirt because it had never been washed and was softer than the hospital's baby blanket.

We can't wait to get him home tomorrow!
