I resisted buying the shirt and ponytail holders (that's candy corn!) the first, second, and third times I went to Wal-Mart, but how much can a grandmother take?

LAINEY IS WALKING!!!

Ginger skyped last night--Lainey started walking yesterday! She's so proud of herself that she walks and claps for herself at the same time!

Joe and I can't wait to go tomorrow! I'm sure we'll sit on the floor and let her walk back and forth between us as many times as she's willing!

Emily's Fancy Nancy Party

It was nice being at Emily's birthday party today. Here's a picture of the fancy purses they made. Look on the left in the background (ignore my inset picture) and you'll see Emily.

Yeah, they're 4,000 miles away. Mark set up his webcam and skyped me, so I got to watch it from afar! Is that cool or what?!
