Yesterday's 6-Month Check-up

Here I am waiting for the doctor to come in.
This can't be good.

Nooooo, not shots again! Help, Mommy!

Well, at least the doctor said it's ok to be chunky. In fact, he said I can start drinking juice! I'm practicing drinking from a cup!

News from Jody about Charlie

Here's what Jody said about Charlie today--

He looks so different every day. His bottom teeth show all the time now when he smiles, and sometimes you catch a glimpse of one of the top two that are coming in now.
He has learned how to clap his hands now, which is adorable. He claps in the morning when I come to get him when he wakes up. That’s a great way to start the day!
I can't wait to see him clap! We plan to go there Memorial Day weekend (Jody and I are going to run a 10k on Memorial Day), and so we'll be there for his first birthday!

New Pictures of Charlie!!!

Here I am eating with a spoon!

I can climb all the way up the stairs!

I'm a good grinner!

That's It--I'm Calling Grandma!

I'm only six months old (tomorrow!), but I've already got Grammy and Papaw wrapped around my little finger! See how I smile at them when they come on Wednesdays? And see the way I gaze at Papaw? And look at the T-shirt Grammy bought me! It says, "That's it, I'm calling Grandma!"

Showing my legs

You'd better look at my chubby legs now while you have a chance, because I'm getting more exercise now!

I've started rolling over from my tummy to my back AND from my back to my tummy!

Lainey's Sleepover

Wow! I'm a big girl! I will be a HALF YEAR old next Friday, and I had my first sleepover with Grammy and Papaw all by myself Thursday night!

I like to entertain Grammy by putting stuff on my head, like this diaper wipe. (I want to pull one out every time she does.)

I especially like to play with Grammy's bead collection. I had to pick which ones to wear to the ball! (Mommy doesn't really want me to be a princess, though.)

When Mommy got here Friday, I visited a bunch of ladies at supper at Heritage, and they thought I was cute.

I also had breakfast with a bunch of men at Hardees this morning!
