New Picture of Samantha and Emily!

All winter I felt sorry for the girls having to go to school and come home in the dark. Well, when Mark sent this picture today, the Anchorage weather was sunny & 57 degrees with a high of 63 expected! (And it's basically never dark!)

They were painting a boardwalk at a park as part of a church service project. Way to go, girls!!

Peach Festival Parade in downtown Clarksville--Lainey especially liked the clowns and the Icy-Pops someone passed out, but she was disappointed that she couldn't pet the horses as they went by.

I never thought I'd say I liked a tattoo, but I love this one! It's Madeline's actual handprint! A nurse made us a plaster of paris model of Madeline's hand when she was three weeks old, and this is a replicate of it.

THE GYM!

After Dr. Nick finished speaking at the YMCA, we worked out! I'd never been to a real gym before, and I discovered I LOVE all the bells and whistles of the treadmill! Of course, I wasn't afraid of getting dizzy since I was with a doctor.

BTW, I did get filmed for a DVD to be used with new Health Steward classes. I talked about my radical sabbatical (my extended liquid fast in Jan. 2007) and also my exercise experiences (resistance training, yoga, and our running/walking clinic).

More Kenosha

I hung around with Peggy from New York and Mary from Minnesota most of the time while Joe played golf and Dr. Nick had interviews and stuff. Sometimes I did stuff with Pauline (Dr. Nick's sister) and Karen from New Orleans, but they were little whirlwinds and it was hard to keep up with them!
